Resolved Question: Where to live in California.? Help!?

I will be 18 at the beginning of my senior year. I plan to move to California by the time im 19. My problem is I cant decide where I want to go in CA. I know for sure that this is the state I want to live in. I'm very open of where I want to go, but I would like to be within 8-10 hours of LA.. if not, closer. Being young I enjoy the thought of the city but I also like the luxury of Malibu...!
